Your Church Can Help

Mobile Meals Office

You and your church can help by ministering to the frail and homebound throughout the Spartanburg community.

Route Coordinator – Become a route coordinator within your church. Often members would like to be involved by helping those in need. Route Coordinators are needed to spearhead volunteer recruitment within the church and may help schedule a day for each volunteer to deliver a meal. Volunteer driver’s time is usually an hour per week, a month, or they may prefer to “fill in” when others are not available to deliver meals on their assigned day. Simply contact the Director of Services at Mobile Meals.

Sunday Schools Adopt a Recipient – A Sunday school class or youth group may want to adopt a recipient to deliver meals, visit the lonely, or help with simple tasks such as changing a light bulb, cutting grass, performing home repairs, or providing transportation to doctors' offices.

Contribute – Many churches provide financial support to Mobile Meals throughout the year. Support from our local churches is invaluable in helping us meet our more than $2 million a year budget.

If your church is not currently involved, we would like to encourage you to become a supporter of this ministry today. Call the Director of Development at Mobile Meals to get involved.

We need your support.
