We’re seeking a Development Analytics & Database Coordinator to help lead and grow this vital ministry.
This is a full-time role managing donor data in Raiser’s Edge NXT for Mobile Meals of Spartanburg. Key duties include processing gifts, maintaining accurate donor records, creating fundraising reports and dashboards, reconciling finances, and supporting campaigns and events.

Position Summary
The Development Analytics & Database Coordinator is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and analysis of donor and constituent data within Mobile Meals of Spartanburg’s donor database, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT. This position manages gift processing, maintains donor records, develops reports and dashboards, supports fundraising initiatives with data analysis, and helps ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards. The coordinator provides accurate information that supports donor stewardship, informed decision-making, and revenue growth.
The Development Analytics & Database Coordinator is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and analysis of donor and constituent data within Mobile Meals of Spartanburg’s donor database, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT. This position manages gift processing, maintains donor records, develops reports and dashboards, supports fundraising initiatives with data analysis, and helps ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards. The coordinator provides accurate information that supports donor stewardship, informed decision-making, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is highly accurate, analytical, service-minded, organized, and able to manage detailed information and recurring deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Donor Database and Fundraising Systems
• Serve as the primary administrator of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Maintain accurate donor, gift, campaign, fund, appeal, package, attribute, and action records.
• Establish and maintain consistent standards for data entry, coding, record updates, duplicate resolution, data cleanup, and database security.
• Import and export constituent data and coordinate address verification and National Change of Address updates as needed.
• Create queries, exports, lists, and reports to support donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, newsletters, board reporting, audits, and organizational planning.
• Coordinate software updates and technical support with Blackbaud and other vendors, and provide appropriate training and support to database users.
• Maintain prospect research and wealth-screening information and update donor records using appropriate and reliable sources.
Gift Administration and Donor Stewardship
• Process charitable contributions accurately and promptly, including checks, online and credit card gifts, recurring gifts, pledges, matching gifts, stock gifts, sponsorships, in-kind gifts, memorials, tributes, donor-advised fund gifts, restricted gifts, and planned-gift documentation.
• Prepare acknowledgments, tax receipts, memorial and tribute notifications, pledge reminders, and related donor correspondence, with a goal of completing routine acknowledgments within two business days.
• Maintain documentation and audit controls for gift processing and donor records.
Reporting, Analytics, and Reconciliation
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising reports, including board and committee reports, campaign and appeal reports, audit reports, major donor reports, key performance indicators, and dashboards.

• Identify discrepancies, document resolutions, and maintain appropriate internal controls.
• Work closely with Finance to reconcile gifts at the end of each month and during audits; serve as a backup for bank deposits.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Two to five years of experience in nonprofit development, CRM or donor database administration, gift processing, finance administration, or a closely related field preferred.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge/NXT strongly preferred; demonstrated ability to learn and manage complex database systems required.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, sorting, filtering, and data reconciliation.
• Exceptional accuracy, organization, follow-through, discretion, and ability to manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to handle confidential donor and financial information with integrity.

Work Schedule and Benefits
The regular work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This position is also expected to support Mobile Meals fundraising events several times each year, including occasional evening and weekend hours.
